VEGAN - GLUTEN FREE - REFINED SUGAR FREE
VEGAN RECIPE DEVELOPMENT
Professional vegan recipe development for individuals, restaurants, and food brands — plant-based, gluten free, and deeply flavorful
"Every project begins with a conversation, understanding your concept, your audience, and your vision. From there, recipes are developed, tested, and refined in a real kitchen until they are ready to be yours."
Creating a recipe is never just a matter of combining ingredients. It is a complete creative process, one that begins with an idea, a concept, or a feeling, and moves through flavor, texture, technique, and intention until it becomes something that works on every level. Knowing where you want to arrive, and who you are cooking for, is what shapes every decision along the way. This is especially true in plant-based and gluten free cooking, where ingredients behave differently, substitutions require genuine understanding, and the final result needs to be not only technically correct but deeply satisfying, flavorful, and memorable. At INUMAMI, every recipe is developed with this level of attention, from the first idea to the last test in the kitchen.
PROFESSIONAL VEGAN RECIPE DEVELOPMENT FOR EVERY NEED
Whether you are an individual looking to build a personal recipe collection, a restaurant wanting to expand or refresh its plant-based menu, or a food brand in need of original recipes for a new product line, the INUMAMI recipe development service is designed to meet your specific needs. Every project begins with a conversation, understanding your concept, your audience, your constraints, and your vision. From there, recipes are developed, tested, and refined in a real kitchen until they are ready to be yours. The result is always a collection of plant-based, gluten free recipes that are not only original and creative, but genuinely functional, reproducible, and aligned with your identity.

HOW THE RECIPE DEVELOPMENT WORKS
Every recipe begins with intention. Whether the project is personal, editorial, or professional, the process starts by defining what the recipe needs to achieve, who it is being created for, and how it should function in practice. From there, each element is considered carefully, from ingredients and flavor balance to texture, method, presentation, and final use. The aim is to move from a clear idea to a finished recipe that feels creative, reliable, and genuinely useful. Every stage is shaped to ensure that the final result is not only original and enjoyable, but also practical, repeatable, and aligned with the needs of the person, kitchen, or brand behind it.
From Concept to Flavor
1. Understanding Your Needs
Before developing the recipe, I take time to understand what you need, what the recipe is meant to achieve, and how it will be used. This includes your dietary requirements, personal taste, kitchen setup, audience, preferred ingredients, restrictions, and the overall purpose of the project. For individuals, this may mean creating a recipe that fits your lifestyle, your special needs, and the way you naturally like to eat. For restaurants, cafés, brands or business projects, it may involve understanding your menu, product, customers, and the experience you want to offer, so the final recipe or the final menu, feels both distinctive and practical.
2. Defining the Creative Direction
Once the needs are clear, I shape the creative direction of the recipe. This is where the idea becomes more precise: the type of dish, the flavor profile, the textures, the level of complexity, the ingredients to highlight or avoid, and the mood the final recipe should express. A good recipe should never feel random. It should have a reason to exist, a clear identity, a function, and a sense of balance.
3. Developing and Testing the Recipe
The recipe is then developed through real testing, using real ingredients and practical methods. I adjust flavor, texture, timing, structure, and proportions until the recipe feels complete. My recipe development is not only about creating something that tastes good once. It is about creating something that can be repeated with confidence, whether in a home kitchen, a professional one, or as part of a project. After testing, the recipe is refined in its details. This may include improving the method, simplifying a step, adjusting the ingredients, clarifying measurements, or making the recipe more suitable for a specific context.
4. Delivering the Final Recipe
At the end of the process, you receive a recipe tailored to your project. Depending on your needs, this can include the ingredient list, step-by-step method, technical notes, substitutions, serving suggestions, storage guidance, plating ideas, or adaptations for professional service or branded content. The final result is an original plant-based, gluten-free recipe developed with care, precision made to be used, shared, served, or published with confidence.
the way i work
CONSCIOUS PLANT-BASED COOKING
My approach to recipe development comes from experience, technical training, and a deep relationship with food. I developed my idea of cooking over time, through my own path from vegetarian to vegan, and later through the need to create food that was also gluten-free. This shaped the way I think about recipes: not as limitations, but as structures that can open a more intentional way of cooking.
I trained at a vegan chef school in London, where I studied vegan techniques, ingredients, textures, and the foundations of professional recipe development. This gave me tools, structure, and method. But more than anything, what matters to me is the palate. A recipe can be beautifully written, but if the flavor is flat, it is not finished.

WHAT YOU WILL GET
Every project is different, so the final deliverables are shaped around your specific needs, goals, and context. Whether you need a single recipe, a complete set of recipes, editorial content, or a more technical development for a professional kitchen or food brand, the work is built to be clear, practical, and ready to use. Each recipe is fully written, tested, and refined until it performs consistently, with precise ingredient quantities, clear method, timing, and any relevant notes on technique, substitutions, or presentation. Where needed, nutritional information, allergen notes, and scaling guidelines can also be included. The goal is always to deliver something that works not only on paper, but in a real kitchen, for a real person or team, with real results.
Original Recipe Development
You will get a fully original plant-based and gluten free recipe developed around your needs, your project, or your brand direction. The recipe is created from scratch, with genuine attention to flavor, texture, balance, and practical execution at every stage of the process. Every recipe begins with an idea or a brief, moves through development and testing in a real kitchen, and is refined until it performs consistently and delivers the result it was designed for. Whether the recipe is destined for a home cook, a professional kitchen, a brand, or an editorial project, it is always built to work in the real world. Originality, reliability, and depth of flavor are the three things that every recipe delivered is held to.
Clear Method & Measurements
You will get a detailed recipe with precise measurements, ingredients, and step-by-step instructions, written to be easy to follow and reliable to reproduce. Every recipe is delivered as a complete, clearly structured document, including ingredient quantities in both metric and imperial measurements where needed, method broken down into logical steps, timing indications, technique notes, and any relevant guidance on substitutions, storage, or presentation. The format is designed to be immediately usable, whether you are cooking at home, briefing a kitchen team, or publishing the recipe as editorial content.
Technical Notes
Depending on the project, the recipe can include notes on texture, substitutions, ingredient behavior, preparation timing, storage, reheating, plating, or how to adapt the dish for a different context.
Variations & Adaptations
Depending on the scope and requirements discussed at the start of the project, recipes can be adapted for specific dietary needs, ingredient preferences, professional kitchens, editorial projects, brand campaigns, or home cooking. If you need a dish that works within a particular nutritional profile, fits a specific cuisine or flavor direction, scales for large batch production, or aligns with a brand identity and visual language, all of this is taken into account from the very beginning. The goal is always to deliver something that feels genuinely tailored, not a generic recipe with your name on it, but something built specifically around your context, your audience, and your vision.
Styling & Serving Suggestions
When useful or requested, I can also include plating ideas, serving suggestions, flavor pairings, or visual direction to help the recipe feel complete and aligned with its purpose. This might mean a brief guide on how to present the dish for a photoshoot or a menu, suggested garnishes and finishing touches, complementary side dishes or sauces, or notes on how the recipe can be varied seasonally or adapted for different occasions.
Timeline & Delivery
Every project has its own timeline, and delivery time depends entirely on the scope and complexity of what is involved. A single recipe is a very different commitment from a complete menu or a full editorial recipe set. Because of this, a realistic delivery timeline is always discussed and agreed upon during the initial conversation, and a maximum delivery date is confirmed before the project begins. It is also important to understand that recipe development is not an immediate process, every recipe goes through testing, refinement, and sometimes multiple rounds of adjustment before it is ready to be delivered. This takes time, and that time is part of what makes the final result genuinely reliable and worth using
Recipe Ownership & Credits
Every recipe developed through this service is delivered for your use, and ownership is agreed upon at the start of the project. You can choose to receive the recipe as a fully exclusive deliverable, meaning it belongs entirely to you, with no credit or attribution required. Alternatively, if you prefer to credit INUMAMI as the recipe developer, that option is always welcome and can be discussed as part of the project agreement. Both arrangements are valid and entirely dependent on your needs, the nature of the project, and how you intend to use the recipe. Everything is clarified and confirmed before work begins, so there are no ambiguities once the project is underway.
